OTTAWA, Ontario – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reported a recall of beef balls on concerns the products are contaminated withListeria monocytogenes.

CFIA test results triggered the recall of the products made by Nha Trang Deli Inc. The agency is conducting a food safety investigation that could lead to the recall of additional products. To date, there have been no reports of illness associated with the products.


CFIA said the agency is working to ensure industry is removing the recalled product from the marketplace.
