Fox joined O.K. Foods in January 2012 after as managing director of Sáo Paulo, Brazil-based Marfrig Group, and president and CEO of Dickinson Frozen Foods for about four years prior to that. He joined Dickinson after working 17-years at Tyson Foods, which included stints as vice president of international operations and vice president of processed meats operations. Goins began his career at O.K. Foods as a management trainee in January 2003 before becoming a regional sales manager in January 2005 for four years. Before joining O.K. Foods, Goins was a legislative assistant for agriculture and trade policy in the office of former US Rep. Marion Berry (D-Gillett).
Celaya, Mexico-based Industrias Bachoco, a major poultry producer, acquired O.K. Foods on Nov. 11, 2011. The acquisition, which was estimated at $93.4 million, resulted in the combined company becoming the third-largest chicken producer in North America.
