OTTAWA, Ontario – Loblaw Companies Ltd. recalled Butcher's Choice brand ground beef products on concerns the products are contaminated with metal pieces, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency reported.

The beef was sold at the Miramichi Real Atlantic Superstore in Miramichi, New Brunswick, according to CFIA. Loblaw initiated the recall, and the CFIA is conducting a food-safety investigation. There have been no reported injuries associated with the recalled product.
