ZEELAND, Mich. – A 49-year-old man was killed at a Hillshire Brands plant near Zeeland, Mich., according to news reports.

Ricardo Ramos of Grand Rapids, Mich., was working at the plant early on May 10 when he became tangled in a machine he was sanitizing, 
The Grand Rapids Pressreported. He is survived by his wife, Dominga Lucas and three daughters.

Hillshire said the company is investigating the incident.
