NYDP brand All-Natural Apple-Glazed Uncured Ham and All-Natural Holiday Roast Turkey are now available at Market Basket deli counters. Market Basket is a leading New England grocer with more than 70 stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
NYDP meats are sourced from animals that are raised without use of antibiotics or hormones and are fed a vegetarian diet, according to the company. Market Basket began chain-wide distribution of NYDP uncured ham and roast turkey after 18 months of strong sales of NYDP traditional deli items such as pastrami, corned beef and other products.
“NYDP brand products are much more than all-natural,” said Bob Hartman, assistant director of Deli, Seafood and Prepared Foods at Market Basket. “We wanted to offer all natural deli items, but we didn’t want to compromise on quality or flavor. With these all natural NYDP brand products, we know we’re bringing a tremendous value to Market Basket shoppers.”
