Wendy's pulled pork offerings will be available until early November.

DUBLIN, Ohio – Wendy's Co. has launched a limited-time offering of barbecue pork selections for those consumers who live outside the "Barbecue Belt".

The new pulled pork offerings include the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich; BBQ Pulled Pork Cheeseburger and BBQ Pulled Pork Cheese Fries. Each item comes with a choice of three BBQ sauces -- Sweet, Smoky or Spicy.

“We’re known for our menu innovation, and our new BBQ Pulled Pork offerings deliver on the taste, quality, and customization our customers have come to expect,” said Brandon Solano, senior vice president of marketing.

To support the product launch, Wendy's has started an official White House "We the People" petition to make BBQ the national dish of America. The company hopes to net 100,000 signatures within 30 days.
