LEESBURG, Ind. – Maple Leaf Farms has added Southwest-style duck breasts to its retail product line up.
The duck breast is marinated in a Southwestern spice blend that includes garlic and cayenne pepper, the company said. The duck breasts are unscored, frozen and packed in clear vacuum skin packaging. The suggested retail price for the Southwest Style All Natural Boneless Duck Breast is $8.95.
“This is the third flavor for our marinated duck breast line,” said Cindy Turk, duck marketing director. “Providing the duck breasts already marinated with gourmet flavor helps consumers create restaurant-quality meals with minimal time and effort in the kitchen.”
Nine duck breasts of 7.5 oz. each come per case for retail stores. Maple Leaf Farms said branded freezer trays also are available to display the product.
