Cloverdale Foods Company in Mandan, ND, recalled approximately 5,208 lbs. of beef and pork jalapeno cheddar bratwurst because the products contain milk and were incorrectly labeled as beef frankfurters. A co-signee of Cloverdale Foods discovered the problem during a store audit, FSIS said. The company then notified FSIS. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The affected products were produced on Sept. 21 and Oct. 2, and bear the establishment number “EST. 7603” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
