The Chilton Consulting Group team will join Alchemy’s professional services organization. Jeff Chilton, the founder of Chilton Consulting Group, will lead the professional services organization.
“Our firm has more than 18 years of experience solving the unique needs of hundreds of food processors and manufacturers,” Chilton said. “With our combined expertise, we can help the entire food chain improve their workplace safety, food safety, and operations.”
Alchemy said the acquisition will expand its offerings for the Global Food Safety Initiative. Another bonus includes Chilton's plan to expand its implementation of the firm's Top Operational Performance System (TOPS), which helps food companies improve results in food safety, quality, yield and productivity.
Jeff Eastman, Alchemy CEO, said Chilton's capabilities in frontline safety and operations will enable Alchemy to improve food industry safety and productivity, from farm to fork.
“Smart food companies are recognizing that better engagement with their frontline workers is an untapped opportunity to improve bottom line performance,” Eastman said. “We continue to build our capabilities through continued investments in innovation and acquisitions to serve the needs of the food industry.”
Chilton is Alchemy's second acquisition within 18 months.
