Steven Lykken was named COO of Applegate effective Aug. 3. Lykken former served as senior vice president of commodity and supply chain at Jennie-O Turkey Store.
Eldon Quam was elevated to CFO of Applegate from his position as director and business unit controller of Hormel Foods International Corporation.
Jennifer Ehresmann was named senior vice president of commodity and supply chain at Jennie-O Turkey Store. She advances from her role as director of marketing for retail and deli at Jennie-O Turkey Store
Lykken joined Hormel in 1992 in Grocery Products as a sales representative in Salt Lake City. During his tenure, he has served in multiple roles in the Grocery Products business including sales representative and brand category development manager for ethnic foods and a group product manager. He moved to Jennie-O Turkey store in 2003 as senior vice president of the retail division. He assumed his current role in 2011.
Quam started at Hormel as a staff accountant at the Austin, Minn. plant office. He moved to the corporate office the same year and served in several accounting positions. In 2002, he became the controller of Hormel Health Labs and in 2003, became the controller and treasurer of HFIC. He served as manager of cost accounting in 2007 at the Austin Plant, then returned to the corporate office in 2008 in the role of controller and treasurer of HFIC. He was elevated to director and business unit controller in 2013.

Ehresmann began her career with Jennie-O Turkey store in 2001 as a commodity sales manager. She became manager of export sales in 2002, but by 2005 she became product manager for deli. In 2006, she advanced to senior product manager and then director of marketing in the deli division in 2008. She has served in her current role since 2010.
