SAN FRANCISCO – Belcampo Meat Co. is breaking out of the butcher shop.
The specialty butcher announced a partnership with Munchery, a meal delivery service. Through the partnership, Belcampo plans to expand availability of its products to more consumers in the Bay Area. During the week of July 20, Munchery will feature an entrée with one kind of Belcampo meat per day through July 23. Initial menu offerings will include lamb meatballs with couscous, pork sirloin with farro and chimichurri, beef bourguignon pasta and BBQ chicken sandwich with coleslaw.
“Partnering with Munchery allows us to offer our proprietary line of organic meats, expertly prepared in new ways, straight to customers in the Bay Area,” said Belcampo CEO Anya Fernald. “We’re giving people who care about food safety, flavor and environmental responsibility a new way to experience Belcampo’s array of flavorful and sustainable meats.”
Chefs at Munchery prepare meals with locally sourced ingredients that are delivered chilled to customers. Customers can order on demand or schedule delivery. For every order placed, Munchery feeds a person in need through a local food bank.
