DENVER – Smashburger, best known for its smash-to-order burgers, now offers grilled chicken strips and Musselman’s Unsweetened Squeezables applesauce on its children’s menu. The company said the new addition came in response to customer demand for healthier options for children.
“We’re thrilled to introduce new better-for-you items to our Kids Meal Menu,” said Tom Ryan, co-founder and chief concept officer for Smashburger. “These additions are a result of our core consumers asking for more Kids Meal options. We pride ourselves on having an innovative menu that is constantly evolving, so we’re extremely excited to see how our fans like our new better-for-you kids meal options.”
Smashburger’s offerings for children include Certified Angus Beef burgers, beef hot dogs and crispy chicken strips. Organic drink options include Horizon Milk and Honest Kids Juice.
