PALO ALTO, Calif. – Taco Bell has added four new cities to its roster of delivery markets. The addition of Chicago, Minneapolis, San Diego and Houston, with new catering delivery options offered from Houston Taco Bell restaurants.
Taco Bell began offering delivery service in July through a partnership with DoorDash, an on-demand delivery service in Silicon Valley.
“We’ve been incredibly encouraged by our first tests with delivery,” Tressie Lieberman, vice president of digital innovation and on demand services for Taco Bell, said in a statement. “Our partnership with DoorDash has confirmed a strong and growing demand for a customized Taco Bell experience when and where our fans want it most. We’re excited to continue using technology and innovation to redefine the customer experience, and we look forward to growing that opportunity to more fans and restaurants across the country.”
Through the partnership, DoorDash is now delivering food from more than 200 Taco Bell restaurants in more than 100 cities across the United States. Taco Bell began offering the delivery service from restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas.
