TEWKSBURY, Mass. – WellPet LLC, an independent, family owned natural pet food company, announced it has acquired Minneapolis-based Sojos, which specializes in raw pet food and gourmet treats. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Sojos brand joins WellPet’s portfolio of natural pet products which includes Wellness, Old Mother Hubbard, Eagle Pack and Holistic Select. Sojos products will continue to be made in Minneapolis.

Sojourner Farms began manufacturing Sojos Original raw pet food in 1985. Sojos Complete recipes come with freeze-dried meat, so consumers just add water and serve. Sojos pre-mixes enable “pet parents” to add their own meat, along with water.
