SHANGHAI – Foodservice operators looking for the perfect dishes for festivals such as Chinese New Year are saving the dates for SIAL CHINA 2016 scheduled for May 5-7 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. SIAL CHINA is the largest food and beverage trade show in Asia. Meat will be the most influential sector with exhibits taking up to 25,000 sq. m.
At this year’s event, Poland is the guest country of honor. SIAL CHINA will showcase Polish apple, pork, cheese and other specialties. Dubai will present a pavilion at SIAL CHINA for the first time. Additionally, the Korea and USA pavilions will both occupy more than 1,000 sq. m., followed by Turkey, Spain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Malaysia, Australia, Czech Republic, Ireland, Morocco, Argentina, Finland, Canada, Portugal, Costa Rica and many more.
Meanwhile Chinese products will have five theme zones: Central Kitchen zones crafted for catering industry; Green Agriculture; High-end beverage; and alcohol.
