PHILADELPHIA – Aramark has put on its game face.
The foodservice company has launched a wide variety of menu offerings at multiple sites as the 2016 NCAA Championship Tournament gets under way. Aramark developed menus for basketball fans attending playoff games at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and NRG Stadium in Houston where the Final Four and National Championship games will be played.
James Beard Award winning chef and Aramark partner, Chris “BC” Shepherd and sous chef Chris “LC” Bednorz, will each introduce new sandwiches on the club level at NRG Stadium. The two sandwiches will compete for customer approval during the Final Four and Championship games, with the best seller to appear on the 2016 menu for National Football League’s Houston Texans home games. The sandwiches are BC’s Korean Sloppy Joe featuring 44 Farms brand beef tossed in Korean barbecue sauce and served on a Hawaiian roll; and LC’s Buffalo Chicken Club which is chicken tossed in buffalo sauce and topped with bacon and bleu cheese slaw.
Bacon-infused offerings will be available from the Beer & Bacon concession stand at Pepsi Center during the first and second rounds of the tournament, while Chickie’s & Pete’s CrabFries can be found at the Wells Fargo Center during the East Regional semifinals and finals.
