MCLEAN, Va. – The Food Processing Suppliers Association elected new members to its Board of Directors and Executive Committee at its annual meeting March 10.

Tom Kittle, president of Handtmann Inc. and Handtmann Canada, will serve as chairman. Gil Williams, president US and Canada of Poly-clip System, will serve as immediate past chairman.

Dan Plante, director of sales and marketing for JBT FoodTech, will serve as chairman of the membership committee. Bill McPhail, president of Max Engineering and Consulting, will serve as chairman of the show committee.

“I am honored to have been elected Chairman of FPSA by the members today here in Bonita Springs,” Kittle said.  “I look forward to following in the footsteps of Gil Williams and Jeff Dahl, whose hard work has established a solid foundation to help FPSA get to the next level. I look forward to this challenge and to working with our members to set and exceed ever higher goals.”

Jeff Dahl of JBT FoodTech has moved on from the Executive Committee and assumed the role of chairman of the FPSA Foundation.

Also, Edel Blanks of Intralox was elected chairman of the prepared foods council; Dan Voit of Blentech was elected vice chairman of the prepared foods council; Jarrod McCarroll, Weber Inc., was elected chairman of MISA; and Provisur’s Brian Perkins was elected vice chairman of MISA.
