WICHITA, KAS. – Cargill Meat Solutions officials announced the company’s Sterling Silver brand premium meat will be highlighted on the menu of a signature dinner prepared by celebrity chef Michael Giletto at New York’s James Beard House. The five-course, fennel-themed dinner, scheduled for Jan. 23, will showcase and promote Cargill’s Sterling Silver Strip Loin, Pork Dust and Skirt Mock Filet.
Mr. Giletto, who is the executive chef at Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, N.J., is no stranger to cooking in high-profile venues, including appearances on the Food Network’s Iron Chef TV program. Being the featured chef at a James Beard Foundation dinner is considered to be a prestigious honor among culinary professionals and an opportunity Chef Giletto relishes.
“I’m excited to work with the Sterling Silver brand and such a reputable organization as the James Beard Foundation,” Mr. Giletto said. “Sterling Silver always delivers on culinary-quality taste and tenderness.”
