Wendy’s launched an intensive marketing program in support of the company’s Crispy Chicken BLT.
DUBLIN, Ohio – Wendy’s introduces the Crispy Chicken BLT to its 4 for $4 Meal today, on April 4. The new addition gives diners a choice of either a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or the new Crispy Chicken BLT. Chicken nuggets, fries and a drink remain part of the meal.
The new sandwich starts with a chicken patty and is topped with two strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato and American cheese.
A marketing program that includes a new advertising spot to appear on more than 35 English and Spanish networks, an online news station called 444 News and an on-campus partnership with Coca-Cola at 50 campuses across the country was launched April 4 to promote the new meal option.
