BRONX, NY – Gold and Masters’ “Skinny” product line has been in supermarket aisles for a while, but now consumers can purchase Original Skinny Burgers from the fresh meat case. The chicken beef combo patties have 25 percent fewer calories, 40 percent less fat, 33 percent less saturated fat and 10 percent more protein than conventional 80/20 beef burgers, according to Gold and Masters.
The patent pending process uses a blend of 100 percent USA grass fed beef chuck and no antibiotic, no added hormone brisket and chicken. All sourced from humanely raised animals. The 4-oz., 214 calorie burgers are certified gluten-free and certified paleo friendly.
“Loving burgers and feeling good about eating them is no longer a contradiction,” says Steve Gold, creator and co-founder of The Original Skinny Burgers. “Thanks to this proprietary blend, people can make healthier choices without sacrificing flavor. We believe everyone who tries The Original Skinny Burgers will describe their experience as ‘Guilt free eating never tasted so good and juicy.’”
Gold and Masters’ Skinny Ground products are usable in any recipe calling for chicken or ground beef and are available in 1-lb. packages in the fresh meat case in supermarkets in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington DC.
