SALT LAKE CITY – A Brazilian steakhouse recently launched a barbecue bonanza.

The second annual Rodizio Americano BBQ Fest is underway at participating Rodizio Grill, The Brazilian Steakhouse locations. The chain is offering traditional backyard barbecue fare along with classic Rodizio favorites through Labor Day.

“Due to last year’s popular demand, we have extended BBQ Fest by one month this summer,” said Ivan Utrera, Rodizio Grill founder.

Traditional American barbecue offerings include barbecue ribs, smoked brisket, barbecue chicken, corn bread, bourbon molasses baked beans, macaroni and queijo, root beer floats and guaraná floats in addition to Rodizio’s signature items.

“Rodizio Americano BBQ Fest was created as an embodiment of my fond childhood memories enjoying summer barbecues with my family and friends,” Utrera said. “It’s American BBQ with a Brazilian touch.”
