The editors of MEAT+POULTRY took another look at a rising processor in the meat processing industry.
Since 2008, Greenridge Farm continues to want to put out quality, natural products to its consumers. Based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, co-founder and CEO Sebastian Madej talked throughout the interview about the company’s philosophy of slow, well-thought out meat processing.
Madej and his family emigrated from Poland in 1990 where they learned how to work on the family farm. From there they have built a business their business into one of the players in Chicago.
Now Greenridge Farm will sell its sausages will be sold in 3-lb. packages at Costco stores across 13 states: Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Iowa.
