Ball Park Angus beef hot dog
If Twitter users are willing to change their name or handle to Frank or Angus, free hot dogs are in their future.

CHICAGO – Forget 15 minutes of fame. Ball Park is giving anyone named Angus or Frank — or anyone willing to change their name — 100 hours to snatch up some free hot dogs. The giveaway is part of Ball Park’s “100 Days of 100% Angus” promotion that highlights the brand’s Ball Park Angus Beef Frank.

Everyone with the name Angus or Frank in their Twitter name or handle (even if only changed for the day) can enter the 100-hour giveaway by following @BallParkBrand on Twitter and tweeting their love for Ball Park Angus Beef Franks using #BallParkAngusGiveaway. Everyone will receive a coupon for a free package of Ball Park Angus Beef Franks.

“Hot dog sales peak over the July 4th holiday and it’s our goal to get people to remember Ball Park brand and our Angus Beef Franks when they’re stocking up for the long weekend,” said Sara Shenoha, senior brand manager, Ball Park. “Whether people change their name to Angus or Frank, we hope they won’t forget our name when they fire up the grill this summer.”

Celebrities participating in the campaign include Mario Lopez, Donald Faison and Haylie Duff, who are changing their name to Angus Frank on Twitter.
