AUSTIN, Minn. – Tony Finnestad has been appointed corporate development chef for Hormel Foods Corp.’s foodservice division.
Before joining Hormel, Finnestad worked as the corporate chef for Glen Arbor, Michigan-based Cherry Republic Inc. In that role, he was responsible for new product development for two restaurants and four retail locations. Prior to Cherry Republic, Finnestad was the lead chef at various restaurants and companies in Tennessee, Texas, Wyoming and New Mexico.
“We are thrilled to have Tony on our team,” said Jeffrey Baker, group vice president of foodservice for Hormel Foods. “He has a fantastic knowledge of food and the real world experience of working in a foodservice kitchen.
