SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Surlean Foods announced the opening of its new R&D and customer innovation facility in Dallas, Texas. According to a statement from the company, the company's investment is part of its growth strategy.
“Our decision to build a culinary innovation center in Dallas reflects our commitment to investing in product development to meet our customers' needs for quality, innovative products to help build their business,” said Daryl Scott, president of Surlean Foods. The family owned company supplies the foodservice segment with customized meat and poultry products as well as soups, side dishes and sauces.
The new facility features areas for product tasting, customer presentation and enhanced quality assurance designed to give customers an inviting and inventive environment for developing products.
“By investing into our Dallas facility, including the new kitchen space, we’re enabling our team to move seamlessly from innovation to production. All while working with the best equipment in the industry so they can continue driving our business forward with delicious and creative recipes for our customers,” Scott said.
