MINONG, WIS. — Jack Link’s Beef Jerky has added Jack Link’s Oven Roasted Turkey Nuggets and Jack Link’s Maple Glazed Ham Nuggets to its line, which are made with premium cuts of 100% turkey and pork, respectively, and are naturally low in fat, calories and carbs.

Snackers want to balance nutrition with convenience, and they demand great flavor, said Jeff LeFever, director of marketing, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. "Jack Link’s Oven Roasted Turkey Nuggets and Maple Glazed Ham Nuggets meet all of those needs — they’re naturally packed with protein and marry home-cooked flavors with on-the-go convenience," he added.

Jack Link’s nuggets are packed in resealable bags and require no refrigeration. The new turkey and ham nuggets carry Jack Link’s Smart Snack designation, making it easy for consumers to identify the various attributes and benefits of each product, with "high in protein," "carb smart" and "satisfies your hunger" on-pack messaging.

AC Nielsen said the nugget segment within the meat-snack category grew more than 23% over the past year. Jack Link’s nuggets outpaced the segment with nearly 30% growth over the same time period. With the introduction of the two new flavors, Jack Link’s now offers eight nugget products.

Both new products are available for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per 3.25-oz. package.
