MINNEAPOLIS – Granite City Food & Brewery announced the appointment of Phil Costner as CEO of Granite City Food & Brewery and Cadillac Ranch All American Bar & Grill. Costner will replace Rob Doran who is retiring after leading the brand for the past six years.
"Granite City Food & Brewery has significantly grown in revenue, number of restaurants, and its capabilities in recent years. Building off that progress, Phil is the right person to lead the organization to new levels of success and growth in coming years," Doran said. "Phil is bringing exceptionally strong leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational growth to the company. I'm confident he can and will take GCFB to the next level."

Costner, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, came to Granite City after serving as president and CEO of the Elite Sports Bar Group. Prior to the role, he worked as senior vice president of food, beverage and retail for Universal Studios Hollywood; vice president of food and beverage at TGI Friday's; president and COO of La Madeleine; and president of Mimi's Café.
