Daley Plaza Farmers Market customers experience Wendy’s Baconator dome. 

CHICAGO – On Sept. 1, The Wendy’s Company set up an inflatable Baconator-shaped dome in Chicago’s Daley Plaza to greet Farmers Market patrons.

The 15-ft. tall dome looked like the chain’s Baconator sandwich and offered visitors lounge chairs and a 180-degree bite photo booth to capture snaps of the fans. Nearly 1,000 Baconators were given away to attendees.

The Baconator consists of two ¼-lb. beef patties topped with six pieces of thick-cut applewood smoked bacon and three slices of cheese on a bakery-style bun. The suggested retail price of the Baconator is $6.36.
