BLADEL, The Netherlands – Cargill Animal Nutrition in Spain and Portugal is partnering with KSE Process Technology on an addition to its Mequinenza production facility in Spain. The new production facility will feature the latest in animal nutrition technology. The new facility should be operational in the third quarter of 2017.

“The new operation provides us with a long-term perspective for our operations in Spain,” said Alberto Martínez, managing director for Cargill’s animal nutrition business in Spain. “Spain remains a growing market and to meet the demand, producers are professionalizing and scaling up their operations.”

The additions to the animal nutrition facility include several ALFRA dosing and weighing systems, flexible silos for storage of raw materials and an internal transport solution from KSE Process Technology, according to a company release.
