The 11,000 new positions, ranging from pizza makers to store managers, are offered by corporate-owned Pizza Hut locations as well as some locally-owned franchise locations.
"The Pizza Hut system is looking for 11,000 new go-getters to give our fans as positive of an experience as possible," said Kelly McCulloch, senior director, Human Resources at Pizza Hut. "We're committed to improving the overall customer experience. This starts with our restaurants recruiting top talent, and training team members to perform at their absolute best."
Last year, Pizza Hut set a goal to grow the number of US store locations to 8,500 – and 20,000 worldwide – over the next several years. The resulting expansion will add many new employment opportunities at locations around the country.
In 2015, Pizza Hut launched the Life Unboxed EDU initiative to help team members further their education. The program offers employees at company-owned restaurants and participating franchisees – and their families – 50 percent off tuition to attend educational courses at Excelsior College, an online university.
“Pizza Hut and its independent franchisees strive to offer a work environment that sets employees up for success and for growth opportunities,” the company said in a release.
