ROSEMONT, Ill. – US Foods agreed to acquire broadline foodservice distributor All American Foods in a deal worth nearly $60 million.
All American Foods, which is based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, offers more than 4,000 SKUs to nearly 1,000 customers throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The acquisition enhances US Foods’ ability to serve customers in the northeast, which features a large population of independent restaurants.
“The growth All American Foods has experienced over the last three decades is proof that their business model and commitment to customer service is strong,” said John O’Carroll, northeast region president, US Foods. “We are looking forward to building on All American Foods’ already strong reputation and bringing an even better experience to foodservice operators throughout Southern New England.”
All American Foods will continue to operate out of its 65,000-sq.-ft. facility. The transaction is expected to close at the end of February. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
