SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Donnie D. King has been named senior group vice-president of Poultry and Prepared Foods for Tyson Foods, Inc., replacing Donnie Smith who was recently named president and chief executive officer. Noel White has been selected as senior group vice-president of Tyson Fresh Meats, which is the company’s beef and pork business. He succeeds Jim Lochner, who is now the company’s chief operating officer.
"We believe Donnie and Noel have the leadership skills needed to help us execute the sound strategy we have in place to win," Mr. Smith said. "They will be actively involved in our continued pursuit of operational excellence and innovative food solutions for our customers."
Mr. King and Mr. White will both report to Mr. Lochner.
