OAKWOOD, Ga. – Wayne Farms LLC April 7 announced the launch of a new line of child nutrition chicken products under the Wayne farms brand. The new line includes Fully Cooked Whole Grain Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets and Fully Cooked Whole Grain Breaded Chicken Breast Patties. Both new items meet the national nutritional guidelines schools are required to follow.
Wayne Farms uses all white meat chicken that has not been administered antibiotics. The chickens receive a vegetarian diet and the breading is made of whole grains. The products are fully cooked giving operators the convenience of easy preparation and fast execution in the back of the house. They provide protein in a healthier option as they can be baked in the oven rather than fried.
Wayne Farms produces products under the brand names of Wayne Farms fresh and prepared foods chicken; Platinum Harvest premium fresh chicken; and Chef’s Craft gourmet chicken.
