LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fazoli’s announced an agreement with the TA Restaurant Group, a division of TravelCenters of America LLC, to open four new restaurants in TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel centers in Connecticut, Oklahoma, Texas and Michigan over the next year.
The first Fazoli’s will open in late summer in Milldale, Connecticut, followed by two additional restaurants at TA and Petro locations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and San Antonio, Texas, that will open in early fall. The fourth restaurant will open in Monroe, Michigan, in early 2018.
“Our mission at Fazoli’s is to serve America premium quality Italian food, fast, fresh and friendly,” Carl Howard, president and CEO of Fazoli’s, said in a statement. “I can’t think of a better opportunity to do this than on America’s highways with a company like TravelCenters, which is known for meeting the needs of today’s travelers.”
The TA Restaurant Group operates more than 850 quick-service, full-service restaurants and other food outlets, including 10 proprietary restaurant brands including Quaker Steak & Lube, Iron Skillet and Country Pride. Parent company TravelCenters of America offers diesel and gasoline fueling, restaurants, truck repair facilities, convenience stores and other services in 43 states and in Canada.
