SAN DIEGO – Carol DiRaimo has been promoted to chief investor relations and corporate communications officer for Jack in the Box Inc. DiRaimo has been vice president of investor relations and corporate communications since joining the company in 2008.
Prior to Jack in the Box, DiRaimo was vice president of investor relations for Applebee’s International, Inc., where she held a variety of positions over 14 years, including financial planning and reporting, treasury and corporate analysis. She also has six years of public accounting experience at Deloitte.
“Carol has been a trusted partner amongst our executive leadership team and board of directors,” said Lenny Comma, chairman and CEO of Jack in the Box. “Her unique perspective, out-of-the-box thinking and unwavering passion for our business make her one of the most respected executives at the table.”
Jack in the Box recently announced that its chief financial officer, Jerry Rebel, plans to retire from the company in 2018. The company has begun an external search for a replacement.
