PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Pinnacle Foods, Inc. is restructuring its executive management team with the announcement of two promotions.
Mark Schiller, currently executive vice president and president, North America Retail, has been named to the new position of executive vice president and chief commercial officer. In this expanded role, Schiller will continue to have responsibility for the company’s Grocery and Frozen segments and will assume leadership over key commercial functions across the organization, including marketing strategy, innovation, product development, package design, commercialization, productivity, consumer insights and shopper marketing. Since joining Pinnacle Foods in 2010, Schiller has managed increasingly larger and more complex parts of the business. Prior to Pinnacle Foods, he held leadership positions at PepsiCo.

Michael Barkley, currently executive vice president and chief marketing officer, has been named executive vice president and president, Boulder. In this role, he will oversee the ongoing integration of the Boulder business into key organizational initiatives, including the company’s holistic productivity program. Barkley joined Pinnacle Foods in 2013 as senior vice president of marketing for Birds Eye. He will replace Michael Allen, currently executive vice president and president, Boulder, who will leave the company to pursue other opportunities.
Changes for Schiller and Barkley will take effect May 1. Both will report to Mark Clouse, CEO.
