Kenosha Beef's recall of 3,690 lbs. of products was triggered by consumer complaints of mislabeling.
Two customer complaints caused the Aug. 9 discovery that the products labeled “JP O’Reilly’s Pub Burger,” should have been labeled “JP O’Reilly’s Bacon Cheddar Beef Patties.” The products subject to recall have establishment number “EST. 425B” and include: 4-lb retail cartons containing 12, 1/3 lb. burgers of “JP O'REILLY’S, PUB BURGER, FAMILY PACK, MADE FROM BEEF CHUCK,” with a sell-by date of 01-10-18; and 24-lb cases of “JP O’REILLY’S, BACON & CHEDDAR BEEF PATTIES” with a sell-by date of 01-10-18 and case codes of 0614KS42065, 0614KS42066, 0614KS42067, 0614KS42068 and 0614KS42070.
No reports of illness or adverse reactions related to the consumption of these products have been reported.
