MILFORD, Conn. – Officials with Subway announced on Jan. 22 that Tracy Steinwand will assume responsibility for leading the chain’s restaurant and field operations as the company’s newly promoted director of global operation. According to Subway, Steinwand will lead all aspects of Subway's global operations with the goal of transforming the customer experience in its restaurants. She will continue leading Subway’s learning and development team, which is designed to foster a culture of ongoing, holistic learning.

"We are excited to promote Tracy as our global operations director to continue to build on that success and to deliver new strategies that will redefine the restaurant environment across the globe."
Steinwand’s career with Subway began in 1993, as a field consultant in Alberta, Canada. She would go on to work as the director of franchisee services and was a regional director for Australia and New Zealand for eight years.
