KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Multivac Inc. announced Matt Malott will assume the role of president and CEO of its US business, based in Kansas City, Missouri, effective July 1, 2018. Malott, currently the vice president of sales and marketing who has worked at the company for 29 years, will replace Jim Campbell, who will return to Multivac UK as the company’s managing director as well as filling the role of chairman of the board of Multivac Inc. and Multivac Canada. 

In the March 20 announcement of the new roles, Campbell said he looks forward to maintaining relationships and staying in contact with the US market while growing in his understanding of the Canadian market.

During Campbell’s tenure, the company has expanded significantly in the US, including opening regional offices in California, New Jersey and North Carolina. The company also recently invested more than $13 million to renovate its headquarters and innovation center, which included adding a third production area at the facility.

Campbell said Malott is well suited to succeed him.

“Matt brings a wealth of industry knowledge, experience and a keen focus on Customer Service, a passion he and I share in equal measure. I am confident the transition will be smooth and seamless,” he said.
