VANDERGRIFT, Pa. – Uncle Charley’s Sausage Co.’s newest TV commercials features Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker, LaMarr Woodley, who serves as the company’s pitchman. The spot, which will air during Steelers games, opens with fans painting signs that they eventually hold up in the Steelers’ home stadium, stating: "Uncle Charley's Sausage. It Just Tastes Better!" It concludes with Woodley eating one of Uncle Charley's grillers in front of the company's Steel Pit Grill, which is a fixture at Heinz Field.

This season there is a wider range of Uncle Charley's Sausage products available at the stadium, including its Sausage Burgers, which will be sold at five locations behind the seating in Heinz Field.


At the exclusive Uncle Charley's Steel Pit Grill, located inside Gate A under the stadium’s Jumbotron, Uncle Charley's famous Hot and Sweet Italian Sausage and Smoked Kolbassi are available for sale to fans. The partnership with the football team is also used to promote the products at local supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Maryland and parts of New York.
