Landcrafted

INDEPENDENCE, Va.- Supplier of 100 percent grass-fed beef meat snacks, Landcrafted Food has announced Greg Jaeger as its new director of sales. Landcrafted’s grass-fed cattle come from family farms in and around Grayson County, Virginia.

Jaeger’s responsibilities include growing distribution and the company’s retail network beyond the mid-Atlantic, as well as lead new product development as Landcrafted expands beyond meat sticks into related protein categories.

“We are excited to have Greg join the Landcrafted Food family,” Gary Mitchell, managing partner and farmer said in a statement. “Landrafted is about healthy, gluten- and GMO-free meat snack alternatives for the consumer. But that’s only part of our mission. We also stand for sustainable cattle farming and natural, small-scale food production that supports our community of farmers here in Viriginia - and across the country as we grow. Greg’s experience and values are a perfect fit for Landcrafted as we accelerate our growth.”

Jaeger started his career in the food industry at General Mills in 1979 and held sales leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility, most recently as senior sales manager of their CPG convenience store channel.

“Landcrafted Food is obviously much smaller than my former employer, but their vision couldn’t be bigger,” Jaeger said. “I’m proud to be a part of a company that combines a great product with a powerful sense of purpose.”
