CHICAGO –  Online grocer Peapod is expanding its meal kit line with a restaurant collaboration. The online company has been offering a variety of meal kits since 2014 and is now partnering with two Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises restaurants to create new meal kit offerings.

 The three new meal kits are inspired by recipes from Big Bowl, a Chinese and Thai cuisine restaurant, and Wildfire, a classic steakhouse specializing in chops and seafood. Starting this month, the new kits will be available from Peapod for home delivery in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C.

"As the demand for meal kits continues to increase, we are thrilled to collaborate with restaurants like Wildfire and Big Bowl," said Spencer Baird, senior vice president of Merchandising for Peapod. "It was a natural progression to work with trusted and popular restaurants based right here in Peapod's hometown of Chicago, and we are excited for our customers to be able to make these delicious recipes right at home."

Each kit contains pre-measured, pre-chopped fresh ingredients that require minimal prep time. The recipes, available in 2-person and 4-person sizes, are:

• Wildfire Beef Tenderloin with Couscous
• Wildfire BBQ Bison Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Caramelized Onions
• Big Bowl Sweet and Sour Chicken
