On April 28, the Bacon and Beer Classic will originate from at Safeco Field in Seattle – for the fifth year. Festival goers can enjoy 100-plus beers from regional breweries more than 30 bacon-infused dishes created by local chefs. There will also be lawn games, music and other festive activities.
On May 12, the festival will be hosted at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Sports Authority Stadium in Denver. In addition to beer and bacon samples, the two Colorado-based festivals will feature a Hormel bacon eating contest and a blind beer taste test.
The Twin Cities will host its Bacon and Beer Classic at CHS Field on July 14.
Ticket prices start at $55 for general admission in the afternoon or evening of the events. The ticket covers three hours of bacon and beer tasting, music, games and a complimentary tasting glass. For $75, guests can arrive one hour early to sample the food and beverages at either the afternoon or evening sessions. VIP tickets, for $95, provide guests with access to a members-only area overlooking the field, which includes a specialty beer and pork belly tasting, as well as a donut wall.
