The store sells the flavor in three different varieties. The regular Lester’s Fixins bacon soda, bacon soda with chocolate and bacon soda with maple syrup.
The flavor idea came from Rob Powells and Ryan Morgan, the Rocket Fizz co-founders. The name Lester's Fixins is named after Ryan's real life grandpa Lester.
“All of our sodas are bottled at the Rocket Fizz bottling plant in Northern California,” the company said. “We use High Sierra Mountain spring water and real cane sugar. We also flash pasteurize to preserve our sodas instead of using certain chemicals like other sodas.
As of September 2017, Rocket Fizz had candy stores and soda shops across the country in 86 different locations.
The company was founded in 2007 with the original store location opening in Camarillo, California, in 2009.
