TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Peco Foods has named Shannon Hendry to the role of plant manager for its Canton, Mississippi, facility. Hendry will be responsible for the plant’s daily operations and will oversee all operations including the safe and efficient management of processing and storage.

Hendry brings more than 20 years of manufacturing experience to the new role including time working for Pilgrims, Tyson Foods and McCarty Foods Inc.
During his tenure at Pilgrims, Hendry successfully led a $9 million plant expansion program that increased production and instituted standards resulting in a production efficiency increase of 20 percent. While working at Tyson Foods, he successfully led a $26 million expansion program and implemented methods that increased productivity and improved safety.
Hendry holds a bachelor of science degree with an emphasis in engineering from Mississippi State Univ.
