AUSTIN, Minn. — On July 24, Hormel Chili, a brand of Hormel Foods, announced the launch of a new variety of premium chili made with 100 percent Angus beef.
Hormel Angus Beef Chili is available with or without beans and is made with chunks of beef that are slow-simmered with spices, other enhanced ingredients and larger vegetables. The chili contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives or added fillers.
“We are thrilled to offer a premium Angus beef chili as yet another option for Chili Nation and chili eaters across the country,” said Mark Beierle, brand manager at Hormel Foods. “Made with 100 percent Angus beef, Hormel Angus Beef Chili delivers a bold flavor and texture perfect for consumers who enjoy the exceptional taste and eating experience of Angus beef.”
According to Hormel’s website, the chili brand now has 18 types of chili available at retail, including two labeled 100 percent natural.
