TYLER, Texas – John Soules Foods will be adding a new production line at the company’s Tyler, Texas, poultry processing facility at a cost of $25 million.
The expansion will raise the plant’s production capacity by 35 million lbs. per year. Construction on the new line is expected to be complete by the end of the year, and 50 new jobs will be created to accommodate the enhanced production capacity.

The company also plans to upgrade an existing production line within the facility to support ongoing organic sales growth. John Soules Foods is a leading manufacturer of breaded chicken, ready-to-cook and fully-cooked beef and chicken products. The company has production facilities in Gainesville, Georgia, and Valley, Alabama, in addition to Tyler, Texas.
The company’s products are sold nationwide under the John Soules Foods and ProView brands in addition to a number of private label brands for leading retailers.
