OTTAWA – Burlington, Ontario-based Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc. announced on Aug. 9 that it is recalling Pinty’s Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Strips from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said the product, which is sold refrigerated, was in stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The recall notice listed the following items:
• Pinty’s Delicious Foods Inc., Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Strips (1kg), with a best before date of Aug. 9 and 15, 2018
The CFIA said there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
