LIMA, Ohio – Fourth-generation, family-owned Keystone Meats is expanding its Lima, Ohio, production plant. The expansion will increase its current facility by 40 percent. The expanded facility will bring additional plant production jobs in operations, maintenance, HVAC and packaging.

“Our growth and our ability to expand in this way is thanks to the local community and the city of Lima and Allen County who has supported us for over 60 years,” said President and CEO Pete Dorley. “This area serves as our best customer base, workforce, contractors and we appreciate that.”

Keystone Meats was founded in 1964. The company produces canned protein products and meal solutions including canned meats, soup bases and broths.
