ButcherBox, the meat delivery subscription service, announced a promotion on its website saying that a customer will receive a free pack of bacon in every ButcherBox received for the life of the subscription.

The company delivers a curated selection of 100 percent grass-fed and grass-finished beef, free-range organic chicken and heritage breed pork. Each month box costs $129 and contains at least 20 individual meals and recipes for inspiration. ButcherBox bacon is uncured and non-GMO verified.

ButcherBox also switched to Vericool’s recyclable, compostable thermal packaging, replacing the expanded polystyrene (EPS) used to ship most perishables.
